I just got off the phone with Michael Storey, the store manager for the Kroger at Crosstown. He said that beginning Wednesday, June 11, his store will open a Boar’s Head deli, selling a full line of Boar’s Head products, including meats, cheeses, hotdogs, bacon and other pre-packaged items.
Kroger will join two other stores in Tupelo that I know of that offer Boar’s Head products: Joe Joe’s Espresso and Tony’s Market. And just in time for picnic season.

This is a good thing. I have always wanted to see a Boar’s Head Deli in Tupelo. I have heard that they are great. Now I will finally get the chance to try them out.

When I was in Los Angeles last week, I went shopping at a local grocery store that carried a full Boar’s Head line. That is some good stuff. We made sandwiches one night that were awesome.
